XiVA™ musicm8 not only stores and streams your media, but will automatically rip CDs as well! It really couldn’t be any easier - simply insert a CD into the slot loading drive. The CD is converted within a few minutes, added to the media library, shared on your network, and then gently ejected. You can then access your music with iTunes, Windows Media Player, or any other software on a Mac or PC. In fact, you can listen to your music with almost ANY streaming device on the market today, including an Xbox 360, Playstation 3, or Nintendo Wii.
Besides being fully DLNA compatible, musicm8 includes both Twonkymedia and Slimserver for media serving to any network connected audio device. The musicm8 only needs a single cable for its network interface, and provides USB connections to allow additional storage, cameras, or other peripherals to be added at any stage.
The musicm8 runs on an embedded Linux operating platform to ensure stability and requires minimal setup via a simple web browser interface. 1 TB of storage ensures you'll be able to hold your entire media collection. Also, quality ripping is maintained through musicm8's proprietary Ripsure® software for great sounding audio, along with awesome metadata (including cover artwork) for each CD.
